One SJW even told me that there’s no point in attacking the hardcore racists, such as some of the extreme white supremacists. Or the hardcore misogynists (like the one who told my girlfriend that women are inferior to men). Or the hardcore homophobes (the ones who think people don’t deserve equal rights).

Which sums up Tumblr social justice warriors in a nutshell, really. They want the reflected glory that comes from combatting social injustice without actually doing anything to combat social injustice that requires them to expend even the most minimal amount of effort doing so. So they go after easy targets and minor problems with fanatical zeal and pat themselves on the back for ‘making a difference’ while the fundamental problems remain unsolved, or are even made worse as a result of their actions.
