Great! Now that you finished the easy part:

BigFinish.com

And just when you think it’s safe to assume you’ve experienced all things Who, feel free to enjoy some light reading.

And then if you’re bored one day you can check out the comics.

This is why I don’t need Doctor Who fanfiction.

Because there’s already tons of legal Doctor Who fanfiction

And if you want to rest your eyes after all that watching and reading, why not treat your ears to some easy listening?

Want to do something on your computer? No problem!

But hey, what if you just want to watch some more TV to relax? serve yourself!

Doctor Who is sort of like the TARDIS. From the outside you might think it’s just 7 Seasons worth of TV but then when you step inside it never ends.

ENJOY!

And don’t forget that some of the old episodes no longer exist and you need to track reconstructions of them…

classicalconfessions:

I am a 30yo Classic Who fan. I feel choked by the sheer amount of contempt for the New series in the Classic fandom. Sorry, I like both. I will defend both. And I refuse to call you my 'family', when you are perfectly happy to send nasty abuse to New series fans because they said Hartnell was a weird old man, or to Steven Moffat just because he doesn't like your favourite character. This is why Classic fans have such a bad reputation. I am, frankly, ashamed to be associated with such bullies.

I would agree 100% with this — and do agree largely with it — except for two points; firstly, that (and I hate to be That Guy, but) new series fans aren’t exactly shy about giving as good as they get at times, and secondly, well, saying William Hartnell is a ‘weird old man’ isn’t exactly the height of tasteful and dignified criticism either. He’s a treasured figure in classic Who fandom for numerous reasons, after all, so it’s not entirely like that’s not going to get people upset.

But yes, there needs to be more love on both sides.

Another product of that weird alternative universe where the Criterion Collection has the Doctor Who DVD license. This time it’s the classic 1964 serial “The Dalek Invasion of Earth” starring William Hartnell as the Doctor.
This one didn’t come out as well as the first one, IMO; finding a Criterion date-stamp / logo to match the image was a sodding nightmare. The image is also not the most exciting, but frankly, the image of the Daleks parading across Westminster Bridge is so iconic that the BBC seem to recreate it every time they do a new Dalek episode, so I reckon the real Criterion would have found it hard to walk past it.
